Option Care Health in Georgia is seeking a Compounding Technician II to support the pharmacy team in a clean room environment, performing medication preparation and processing under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist.

The role requires at least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience, a valid CPhT, and compliance with state licensing where required; strong accuracy and math skills are essential to ensure safe, effective patient care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT).
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Review compounded and packaged medications to ensure quality.
• Ensure all compounding and packaging is inspected and approved by a licensed pharmacist.
