You will perform basic calculations, label and package medications, and help maintain the pharmacy, including temperature logs and equipment checks. This role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service while supporting patients and internal colleagues.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to perform basic and intermediate mathematical calculations.
• Proficient with basic Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Prepare medications accurately and calculate dosages.
• Label and package medications.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods cleanliness.
• Inspect equipment and maintain logs for temperature and cleaning.
• Record and report medication incidents.
