Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding and dispensing in a clean room, with at least 50% time dedicated to compounding.

Under a licensed Pharmacist, you will ensure accurate preparation, labeling, and packaging of medications in a safe, compliant environment. Requirements include a high school diploma, 1 year of pharmacy tech experience, and state licensure/registration where required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state)

Responsibilities

• Assists pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurately labels and packages medications.
• Participates in medication incident assessment, management and reporting.
