Option Care Health is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to support compounding and dispensing under a licensed pharmacist. The role includes preparing medications, checking dosages, labeling, and maintaining cleanroom operations.

Responsibilities cover site and equipment upkeep, incident reporting, and basic office tasks. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, 1 year of tech experience, and active licensure/registration as applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications per policy and state standards.
• Prepare medications for accurate compounding.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Label and package medications accurately.
• Participate in assessing and reporting medication-related incidents.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods.
• Inspect equipment and log defects and maintenance.
• Record and maintain pharmacy temperature and cleaning logs.
