Job summary

Option Care Health is looking for a Compounding Technician I to prepare and dispense medications under the guidance of a licensed pharmacist. This role requires at least one year of pharmacy technician experience and basic skills in customer service and mathematical calculations.

As a Compounding Technician, you will work in a clean room environment, ensuring that compounding operations are safe and accurate.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state).
• Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Ensure pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods are cleaned and sanitized.
