Job summary

Option Care Health is seeking a compounding technician I to work under a licensed Pharmacist in a clean room, contributing to safe and accurate medication compounding for home infusion patients.

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and at least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience; licensure/registration as required by state. Strong math, accuracy, and organizational skills, plus proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, are expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; 1 year pharmacy technician experience preferred.
• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Proficiency with basic Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies.
• Prepare medications so they are accurately compounded.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations to obtain correct dosages.
• Label and package medications.
• Record and report medication-related incidents.
