Job summary

Option Care Health in South Carolina is seeking a Pharmacy Technician I to work under a licensed Pharmacist, performing compounding in a clean room at least half the time to ensure safe and accurate operations. The role supports dispensing and medication preparation following company procedures and state regulations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience; licensure or registration as required by state.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Must be licensed or registered (if required by state).

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparation and dispensing of medications in accordance with policies and state regulations.
• Maintain pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods cleanliness.
• Record and monitor temperature and cleaning logs.
• Perform basic pharmaceutical calculations for correct dosages.
• Accurate labeling and packaging of medications.
