Job summary
Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Peoria, AZ. The role involves supervising technicians, performing and documenting compounding with quality checks, and ensuring compliance with USP, BOP, and state/federal rules.
You will counsel patients and participate in drug utilization reviews. Requirements include a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy, active AZ license, and 2+ years of pharmacist experience, with non-sterile compounding.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy.
- Active Arizona Pharmacist License.
- 2+ years of pharmacist experience.
- Non-sterile compounding experience.
- Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
- Strong math skills.
- Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
- Multi-state licensure preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
- Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
- Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
- Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
- Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
- Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
- Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
