Job summary

Quality Talent Group seeks a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to supervise technicians, perform and document sterile or non-sterile compounding, verify formulas and records, and ensure regulatory compliance. The role emphasizes patient counseling, dispensing, and DUR activities within a dynamic health-care environment.

Qualified candidates hold a PharmD or BPharm, an active Arizona Pharmacist License, and experience in compounding with USP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree (B.Pharm or PharmD) required.
• Arizona Pharmacist license active and in good standing.
• Experience in non-sterile compounding and USP <795> / <800> knowledge.
• Strong numerical and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to obtain respirator fit testing and lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience
• Non-sterile compounding experience
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations
• Strong math skills
