Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to join a health and wellness organization recognized for workplace excellence. The role involves supervising technicians, performing compounding and quality checks, and ensuring compliance with USP and state/federal regulations.

Shifts run from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM or 5:30 PM to 4:00 AM. The position offers competitive salary, stock options, and benefits including 401(k) with matching, and PTO.

Qualifications

  • Requires Doctorate or PharmD or equivalent and valid pharmacist license.
  • Arizona pharmacist license active and in good standing preferred.
  • Experience with non-sterile compounding and regulatory standards (USP <795>, <800>) is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
  • Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
  • Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
  • Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
  • Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
  • Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
  • Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy
  • Active Arizona Pharmacist License
  • 2+ years of pharmacist experience
  • Non-sterile compounding experience
  • Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations
  • Strong math skills
  • Ability to undergo respirator fit testing
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required
  • Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems
  • Multi-state licensure preferred
