In this role, you will supervise technicians, perform and document compounding, verify formulas, and ensure USP compliance while counseling patients and maintaining a clean, compliant work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy required.
• Active Arizona Pharmacist License required.
• 2+ years of pharmacist experience required.
• Non-sterile compounding experience required.
• Knowledge of USP 795, 800, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills required.
• Ability to undergo respirator fit testing.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as required.
• Proficiency in English and Windows-based systems.
• Multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel.
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks.
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products.
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel.
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements.
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews.
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters.
