Job summary

Quality Talent Group is seeking a Compounding Pharmacist in Arizona to join a health-focused organization recognized for workplace excellence. This role combines compounding oversight with patient counseling and regulatory compliance.

The candidate will supervise technicians, ensure accurate formulations, and maintain USP <795> and <800> standards while upholding safety and quality across all processes.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in Arizona with active license.
• Experience in non-sterile compounding.
• Knowledge of USP <795>, <800>, and pharmacy regulations.
• Strong math skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in English; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pharmacy technicians and support personnel
• Perform and document compounding and quality checks
• Verify formulas, records, beyond-use dates, and finished products
• Support training and evaluation of compounding personnel
• Maintain compliance with USP, BOP, state, and federal requirements
• Perform patient counseling, dispensing, and drug utilization reviews
• Participate in quality assurance, audits, and CQI initiatives
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment
• Coordinate with the Pharmacist-in-Charge on compliance and regulatory matters

Skills

2+ years of pharmacist experience

Strong math skills

Proficiency in English

Ability to undergo respirator fit test

Multi-state licensure preferred

Education

Bachelor’s or Doctorate degree in Pharmacy

Active Arizona Pharmacist License
