Job summary

Synergy Flavors in Hamilton, OH, is seeking a Compounder for its production manufacturing facility. You will add raw materials, follow formula requirements, and operate mixers, spray dryers and blending tanks, ensuring batches meet weight and viscosity targets while documenting work.

You will sample batches, send to lab for testing, follow GMP and food safety guidelines, and maintain accurate batch sheets. The role requires attention to detail, basic math, and the ability to work quickly and

Qualifications

• Safety protocols and quality processes knowledge (GMPs & Allergens).
• Follow safety requirements and wear PPE (steel-toed shoes, goggles, mask when required).
• Attention to detail and basic math are required.
• Ability to problem solve and communicate when issues arise.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard batching instructions to measure or weigh ingredients.
• Lift heavy drums and bags while wearing PPE.
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, and use piping and parts efficiently.
• Monitor equipment, control temperatures, and ensure mixture consistency.
• Sample and test attributes from mixes after completion.
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.
• Fill out batch sheets and related paperwork.
• Maintain safety according to company policies and perform duties without errors.
