Synergy Flavors, a part of the Carbery Group, seeks a Compounder for our Chicago, IL production facility. You will follow batch instructions, weigh ingredients, and handle heavy drums while maintaining strict PPE and safety protocols.

You will sample batches, transfer materials to labs, and ensure accurate documentation and CIP cleaning. The role requires attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and adherence to food-safety guidelines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Follow standard batching instructions to measure or weigh ingredients.
• Take samples of the batch and transfer to a laboratory for testing.
• Adhere to CIP and cleaning procedures with proper sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Measure or weigh ingredients following standard batching instructions.
• Lift heavy drums and bags while wearing PPE.
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, and utilize piping efficiently.
• Monitor equipment and control temperatures and mix consistency.
• Sample and test mixes after completion for attributes.
• Complete batch sheets and related paperwork.
• Follow safety policies and perform duties without errors.
