Job summary

Synergy Flavors, Inc. in Hamilton, OH is seeking a compounder for our production facility. You will follow batch instructions, weigh ingredients, set up equipment, monitor temperatures, and ensure product quality from raw material receipt to finished batch.

The role requires lifting up to 50 lbs, adherence to safety policies, and detailed documentation. Starting wage is $19.00/hr with a $1.50 shift differential and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for the 3rd shift, Monday–Friday, 11pm–7:30am, onsite at

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED Preferred
• Must have a general knowledge of workplace safety and quality processes including GMP’s & Allergens
• Must follow safety requirements and wear PPE including steel-toed shoes, safety goggles and a mask as necessary
• Attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematics required
• When required for the position, employee must be able to wear a respirator with Doctor’s approval and pass respiratory/pulmonary tests
• Ability to manually lift 50 lbs continuously when necessary
• Learn and consistently follow operational and cleaning procedures
• Learn and consistently complete required documentation and record-keeping requirements
• Work overtime when necessary
• Ability to read scales and understand unit of measure requirements
• Basic computer skills with RF scanner experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Follow standard batching instructions to measure or weigh ingredients
• Lifting of heavy drums and bags while wearing proper PPE
• Transfer materials, set up equipment, utilize piping and parts efficiently
• Monitor equipment, control temperatures and consistency of the mixes
• Work in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, and perform under pressure
• Sample and test attributes from the mixes after completion
• Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning
• Complete paperwork and batch sheets
• Adhere to safety policies and perform duties safely
• Maintain accuracy and avoid defects
