Composites Technician Job Description

The Composites Technician is responsible for understanding the materials, equipment, and processes involved in transforming raw materials into molded composite parts.

1. Cut and layup fiber glass, carbon fiber, Kevlar, or other materials, and prepare and assemble components for product molding.
2. Follow traveler and engineering drawings, along with other instructions, to ensure process control and produce quality parts.
3. Understand typical raw materials and processing materials used in the manufacturing process.

Failure to perform satisfactorily may result in scrap, rework, delays, dissatisfied customers, and increased costs to the organization.
