This role involves shaping advanced aerospace platforms by working at the intersection of the lab, factory, and design. The position is suitable for a motivated and collaborative engineer, either early-career or experienced, with a passion for composites, polymer chemistry, failure analysis, and production problem-solving.Key Responsibilities* Develop and qualify composite materials and processing methods.* Provide technical evaluation and material and process support to composite part fabrication.* Perform root-cause investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions for material and process issues.* Create and execute test plans, write reports, and provide input to specifications for materials, tools, and processes.* Qualify and approve equipment, materials, and processes.* Guide material testing in the Materials & Processes Laboratory.* Coordinate with other disciplines such as Design Engineering, Production Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, and Procurement.* Integrate new technologies and promote standardization across product lines.* Manage test and audit programs, ensuring regulatory and contractual compliance.* This role is a full-time, 2nd shift position and is 100% onsite.Required Qualifications* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.* A Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience or a Master’s degree.Preferred Qualifications* 1+ years working with composites, elastomers, and associated processing techniques.* Hands-on lab experience with polymer chemistry analytical techniques.* Familiarity with materials such as epoxy, cyanate ester, bismaleimide, urethane, polyimide, reinforcements, and adhesives.* Experience with composite failure modes (structural and nonstructural) and failure analysis.* Experience in creating technical specifications, reports, and test plans.* Comfortable reading engineering drawings and using Microsoft Office.* Experience in creating and delivering technical presentations and briefings.* Ability to work in a collaborative team-based environment *Everforth Apex is a world-class IT services company that serves thousands of clients across the globe.
