Job summary

Rocket Lab in Middle River, MD is seeking Composite Technician I–Senior to join our Space Structures team. You will build and assemble composite components for the Neutron launch vehicle, perform bonding, laminate layouts, bagging prep, and hardware integration on production floors.

Base pay range is listed for MD, with a broad benefits package including medical, dental, vision, vacation, holidays, and 401(k).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with composite production or military equipment maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Assemble structures including setup, bonding and fastener applications.
• Laminate assemblies and determine proper placement of materials.
• Prepare parts for bagging with bleeders, probes, and vacuum connections.
• Perform vacuum bag processing and autoclave curing.
• Inspect dimensions with calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges.
• Integrate mechanical hardware and fit thermal protection systems.
