Job summary

Precise Systems seeks a Composite Technician III to support NSWC Carderock in experimental design and trade-off studies. This in-person role requires ABYC Composite Boat Builder certification or equivalent hands-on lamination experience and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance.

Required education includes a high school diploma or GED. Candidates should have hands-on experience with hand lamination, VARTM, and pre-preg lamination, plus experience planning, preparing, and

Qualifications

• High school/vocational degree or GED.
• ABYC Composite Boat Builder certification OR 2+ years of hands-on lamination experience (VARTM, pre-preg) in an industrial setting.
• Experience planning, preparing, and executing composite manufacturing or repair projects with a team.
• Five years of laminations in a boatyard/shipyard environment (desirable).
• Five years assembling or repairing composite hulls, bulkheads, or components using adhesive bonding and mechanical fastening (desirable).

Responsibilities
