Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) seeks Manufacturing Technician 1 or 2 for Beavercreek, OH to work on next-generation composite structures. Role involves fabricating composite hardware via hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and finishing, with tasks in teams or solo as needed.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and passing a physical plus DoD Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED & 9 months of experience OR completion of approved Aircraft Fabrication or Composites course.
• Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
• Ability to perform moderate strenuous physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass New Hire Physical Exam and obtain respirator clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Must complete ASTAR New Hire Training/Compliance.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate composite hardware using methods like hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming and finishing.
• Develop skills to produce parts meeting customer expectations; work in team or individually.
