Job summary

Anduril Industries in North Carolina is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support rapid iteration and manufacturing of composite parts for multiple business lines. The role covers MBOM management, work instruction creation, design for manufacturability, tooling, process creation, and documentation with a hands-on approach on the shop floor.

You will work with design, supply chain, and quality teams to iterate designs toward manufacturability and ensure conformance to specifications while

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably in composite manufacturing.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred) and related tools.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with technicians and engineers to design and build composite components.
Influence manufacturability decisions during design phases for better yield.
Prepare MBOMs, work instructions, and quality plans for production.
Serve as a bridge between engineering data packages and shop floor.
Resolve manufacturing problems in schedule-driven environments.
Develop processes to reduce risk as products move from prototype to FRP.
Coordinate with program managers to ensure on-time delivery.
Drive RCCAs with quality to remove blockers.
