Anduril Industries in North Carolina seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for the Anduril Composites branch. You will iterate novel designs with IPTs to yield manufacturable products, focusing on composite failure modes and manufacturing methods for end products.

You will work hands-on with technicians, write MBOMs and work instructions, and coordinate with design teams to ensure manufacturability from concept through production, delivering on schedule with attention to quality.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a relevant field, preferably composite manufacturing methods
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
• Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (NX preferred)
• Experience with MS Office and/or project management software skills
• Demonstrated in-kind or direct team leadership skills, with backing examples
• U.S. Person status is required as this position needs to access export controlled data

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with technicians and engineers to design and manufacture composites
• Influence design phase to improve manufacturability before release
• Create manufacturing documentation: work instructions, MBOMs, quality plans, inspection requirements
• Ensure parts are manufactured as designed/analyzed using the engineering data
• Resolve manufacturing problems to meet schedule and quality constraints
• Develop processes as product moves from prototype/LRIP to FRP
• Support program managers to ensure on-time delivery
• Drive RCCAs with quality to eliminate blockers
