Job summary

RTX is seeking an experienced professional for the Advanced Structures team in Riverside, CA. The role focuses on composites fabrication, lay-up, and joining processes within a high-precision aerospace environment.

You will read blueprints, follow procedures, and ensure quality through dimensional checks. Candidates should have an AA/AS and 6+ years of related experience, with a strong emphasis on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• AA/AS degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
• Composites fabrication experience (e.g. lay-up)

Responsibilities

• Read and follow lab planning, lab procedures and work instructions.
• Able to interpret basic blueprint/drawings if required.
• Able to read and follow specification requirements
• Check work visually and dimensionally using required documentation to verify configurations, quality and identify nonconformance from workmanship of self and others.
• Use computers and office equipment to record and process transactions.
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean and organized.
• Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function as well as willing to learn other processes to broaden skillset
