Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Riverside, CA is seeking a skilled technician for composites fabrication and mechanical assembly in an onsite lab environment. You will read and follow lab plans, interpret basic blueprints, and verify configurations and quality through visual and dimensional checks.

Qualifications include an AA/AS degree (or equivalent) with about 6 years of relevant experience and composites fabrication experience (lay-up).

• Check work visually and dimensionally using required documentation to verify configurations, quality and identify nonconformance from workmanship of self and others.
• Use computers and office equipment to record and process transactions.
• Keep equipment and surroundings neat, clean and organized.
• Perform related duties as required within the scope of this job function as well as willing to learn other processes to broaden skillset
