Job summary

RTX is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer for the Riverside, CA facility. You will support composite fabrication and metal structures production, focusing on stabilizing and improving processes while working hands-on with operators and engineers.

The role emphasizes data analysis, continuous improvement, and cross-functional collaboration to reduce cost and improve quality in aerospace manufacturing.

Qualifications

• MS Office skills and ability to read engineering drawings.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN/Six Sigma).
• Ability to analyze data and support problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Assist and train operators in composite fabrication processes.
• Create and maintain routings, BOMs, and work instructions.
• Ensure processes meet EHS, quality, and engineering specs.
• Use data and root-cause methods to resolve issues.
• Collaborate with ops, quality, design engineering, and suppliers.
