Job summary

Greene, Tweed is seeking a skilled R&D Technician to support the ATG material platform across multiple labs. With limited supervision, you will set up, operate, and troubleshoot analytical equipment, quantify chemical compositions, and report test results.

Qualifications

• AS in Science or Chemistry preferred; HS degree with 10+ years of equivalent R&D experience required.
• 7+ years of related experience in research & testing.
• Experience with basic lab equipment and analytical measuring instruments; ability to follow multi-step procedures.

Responsibilities

• Carries out experimental program under guidelines established by the Scientist or Engineer.
• Audits own and other colleagues' work to ensure completion of tasks and objectives.
• Operates and troubleshoots diverse R&D equipment; supports manufacturing scale-up and time/cost estimates.
• Coordinates data, samples and information exchange with other labs; plans projects of limited scope.
• Documents all test results and observations; communicates results to supervisor and stakeholders.
