Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group in Michigan seeks a System Test Specialist to coordinate validation with customers, ensure ECU configurations are current, and manage test benches with approved SW/HW. You will lead joint tests to assess development status and communicate release deadlines.

You will lead joint tests to assess development status, support defect tracking, and act as the R&D referent for our Customer plants, requiring English proficiency and the ability to work in multinational

Qualifications

• Electronic Engineering Degree or Information Science Degree.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).
• At least 3 years of system testing experience in automotive.
• Ability to work in multinational distributed teams.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and test management tools.
• FMEA/FTA and analytic tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide to the Customer information about all the system functions and about the release timing of the software versions and about project deadlines.
• Analysis of requirements and specifications with the customer.
• Ensure the correct configuration of the test cars and test benches, with all the different ECUs up to date with the approved Customer SW/HW.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

• Support customer production sites during product launch phases

Team Coordination

• Provide regular status reports that illustrate the status of defects seen on customer R&D sites
• Coordinate the activities between us and Customer team

Customer Interface

• Review and discuss with the Customer the claims status with the project support (PVL and SW PL), if needed
• Provide Information about the release timing of the software versions and about project deadlines
• Participate in the meetings with other suppliers in order to maximize the effectiveness in problem solving also In terms of time

Internal Project Reference

• Coordinate with TPL and SW PL to ensure claim resolution
• Cooperate with internal developers to obtain and provide all the necessary information for the project
• Transfer the acquired "know-how" to us and closely collaborate with the our internal teams

Requirements

Education

• Electronic Engineering Degree, Information Science Degree

Languages

• English (recommended): written and spoken independent use (82 level)
• Customer interfaces language knowledge: written and spoken independent use (B2 level minimum)

Experiences

• At least 3 years-experience in System Tests activities. The above competences have to be maturated in automotive area or other large scale markets
