Job summary

ImpactLife in Davenport, IA is seeking a Component Processing Technician to help manufacture blood products, handle quarantine, and label components. You may assist with counts and inventory maintenance while following SOPs.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. This full-time role runs 9:30am-6pm Tuesday through Saturday, with holiday rotation and schedules that include days, evenings, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalencies.
• Previous experience in a medical laboratory, production or manufacturing setting is preferred.
• Ability to read and follow set SOPs.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.

Responsibilities

• Handle blood products, including quarantine and discard as needed.
• Prepare and label components and assist with inventory counts.
• Maintain and count inventories, following SOPs.

Job description

Our Component Processing Technicians are responsible for blood product manufacturing to include handling of blood products, quarantine and/or discarding products, working with biohazardous/chemical waste. This position will also prepare and label components and assist with count/maintenance of inventories. No experience? No problem! We provide an extensive on-the-job paid-training program.

This is a Full Time position working 930am-6pm Tues-Sat and holiday rotation and requires the ability to work varied hours including days, evenings, and weekends.
