As a Component Engineer you'll work on a broad range of projects, in both a laboratory and manufacturing environment, that will challenge you to learn and grow in your career. Working side by side with designers, test and manufacturing, you'll use your education, experience and growing expertise to develop and evaluate new and technology to survive in the most hostile of environments.
The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Conducts or participates in the selection, evaluation, qualification, testing and failure analysis of Electrical, Electronic, Electromechanical and Electro-optical (EEEE) Components. Plans, directs, reviews and coordinates the preparation of project documentation to ensure customer contract and company requirements are met. Prepares EEEE Component Source Control Drawings (SCDs), evaluates vendors and analyzes EEEE Component test reports. The Component Engineer is responsible for the oversight of Subcontractor EEEE Components, generating/reviewing/approving Non-Standard Part Approval Requests (NSPARs) at Parts, Materials and Process Control Board (PMPCB) meetings, reviewing and approving engineering drawings and SCDs, participating/leading PMP issue resolutions and assisting/leading failure analysis under the EEEE Components domain.
Full-Time Salary Range: $79300.00 - $147300.00
