Job summary

Sapsf is seeking a Senior Design Lead to oversee component cost estimation, supplier collaboration and negotiation for design projects in the United States. You will drive cost estimation, work with suppliers on pricing and terms, and manage supplier relationships to support timely delivery and quality materials.

Responsibilities include leading cost estimation for new designs, negotiating with suppliers, and implementing supplier development programs to improve performance and reliability

Qualifications

• Proficiency in component cost estimation methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Strong negotiation skills with suppliers to achieve favorable pricing and terms.
• Experience in supplier development and management to optimize performance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and estimation of component costs for new product designs to ensure cost‑effective solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve competitive pricing and quality materials.
• Develop and implement strategies for supplier development and management to strengthen partnerships and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Manage the relationship with suppliers, addressing issues and ensuring timely delivery of components for design projects.
