Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Business or Engineering.
• Minimum 5-7 years’ progressive experience in engineering with procurement, sourcing, operations, and/or finance within manufacturing operations.
• Understanding of Supply Chain Management best practices.
• Advanced user of SAP, Excel, PowerPoint and databases.
• Experience in ERP systems, SAP desired.

Responsibilities

• Leads design engineering feedback and support on cost savings efforts and acts as the sourcing point of contact for supplier bids, negotiations, analysis, and PO coordination.
• Identifies alternate sourcing options for obsolete, out-of-stock, and single-sourced materials in production.
• Negotiates price/terms for new products and provides direction on print/design review and source selection with Global Sourcing.
• Provides on-site engineering support for supplier onboarding, VAVE reviews, quality issues and production launch meetings.
• Manages the supply chain for NPD projects and BOM components from quote through FAI approval.
