Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking a Component Cleaning & Prep Lead to run cleaning operations in manufacturing and assembly on site. You will oversee 2-3 technicians and ensure contamination control, safety, and audit-ready areas.

You will author SOPs, train staff on chemical safety, coordinate with inventory, and validate cleaning processes and equipment. A hands-on, safety-focused leader with 3–5 years experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leading industrial parts-cleaning operations.
• Experience enforcing chemical safety and waste handling.
• Proven ability to author SOPs and train teammates.

Responsabilités

• Lead a team of 2–3 cleaning technicians on daily tasks and schedules.
• Train onsite on chemical safety, contamination control, and proper hardware handling.
• Coordinate with Material and Inventory Coordinators for batch control and ERP logging.
• Develop and validate cleaning SOPs and select/commission cleaning equipment.
• Define cleaning standards and workflow layouts based on best practices.
• Ensure safe handling, storage, and disposal of solvents and hazardous waste.
