Job summary

Commonwealth Fusion Systems is seeking an Operations Coordinator - Assembly in Devens, MA. This full-time, on-site role supports production consumables purchasing, clean room materials, and new-hire onboarding within a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (associate degree preferred) and 5+ years in manufacturing/ops admin. Strong organization, attention to detail, and Excel/Outlook proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, production, operations, or admin environment.
• Experience in a clean room or regulated manufacturing environment is a plus.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of production consumables, supplies, PPE, and office materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and reorder materials to prevent interruptions.
• Obtain quotes, place purchase orders, and communicate with suppliers.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records.
• Coordinate onboarding and training for new hires; lead clean room training.
