The Compliance Trainer is responsible for ensuring company-wide adherence to federal, state, and client-specific compliance standards through proactive training, auditing, and system support. This role serves as a subject‑matter expert in E-Verify, Form I-9 employment eligibility, and healthcare compliance (Joint Commission/Jayco certification). The position combines hands‑on auditing with training delivery—both in person and virtually—to drive compliance excellence across Crown Staffing’s branches and divisions.
Base Pay Range
$50,000.00/yr - $65,000.00/yr
Key Responsibilities
I-9 and E-Verify Compliance
- Administer and oversee Crown’s Form I-9 and E-Verify processes to ensure accuracy and full federal compliance.
- Conduct internal audits, identify errors, and coordinate timely corrections.
- Serve as the primary trainer and subject‑matter expert for all I-9/E-Verify requirements, updates, and best practices.
- Create and maintain training materials, guides, and process documentation for HR, recruiters, and managers.
- Stay current on DHS, USCIS, and DOL regulations and communicate updates to leadership and regional teams.
Healthcare (Jayco / Joint Commission) Compliance
BONUS, but not required
- Support and train teams on Joint Commission (Jayco) certification requirements, documentation, and audit readiness.
- Assist in maintaining and renewing state healthcare staffing licenses and certifications.
- Partner with healthcare operations to ensure credentialing, policy, and documentation standards meet regulatory requirements.
Auditing & System Training
- Perform scheduled and random compliance audits within internal systems (Avionté BOLD, timekeeping, document storage, etc.).
- Deliver system training sessions to ensure proper workflows for onboarding, credentialing, and document retention.
- Track compliance metrics and produce audit reports with corrective action recommendations.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and collaborate on system enhancements and automation initiatives.
Training Program Development
- Design and facilitate engaging training sessions for new and existing employees across multiple departments.
- Deliver training in multiple formats (virtual, classroom, recorded modules, and onsite).
- Ensure that all compliance topics—E-Verify, I-9, Jayco, safety, and internal policies—are clearly communicated and consistently applied.
Travel
- Travel up to 25% for branch visits, audits, client reviews, and in-person training.
- Represent Crown Staffing professionally during audits, client meetings, and certification assessments.
Qualifications
Required
- 2–5 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or training—preferably in staffing, HR, or healthcare.
- Advanced understanding of Form I-9, E-Verify, and employment eligibility regulations.
- Experience conducting audits and training others on compliance or HR processes.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confident presentation ability.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office products.
- Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time.
Preferred
- Experience with Joint Commission (Jayco) standards or healthcare staffing compliance.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
- Experience creating e-learning or LMS training modules.
