Tanknology in Houston, TX invites energetic individuals to join as Compliance Field Technician Apprentices. You’ll learn on the job, perform testing, installations, and repairs at various sites while using TANCS to record findings.

This apprentice role emphasizes safety, physical work, and teamwork; a high school diploma or GED is required, and willingness to travel is essential. Overnight stays and per diem are possible as you support field operations.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with trades or field experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling).
• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, physical, and MVR.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states, with occasional overnight stays and per diem.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and surveys.
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.
• Enter and analyze test results, reporting findings to Operations.
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your vehicle.

Compliance Field Technician

Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As a Field Service Technician, you will learn through an apprenticeship style program until you are certified. In this role you will work on various job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs while using our proprietary software, TANCS, to record your findings.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct site assessments and surveys
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
• Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to the Operations team
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your company vehicle

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)

• A Strong Educational Foundation:High school diploma or GED required
