Job summary

Tanknology, Inc. is seeking a Compliance Field Technician as part of an apprenticeship-style program to become certified. You will work on diverse job sites performing testing, installations, and repairs while using TANCS to record findings.

Applicants must live within 60 minutes of Chicago and be capable of traveling across multiple states with overnight stays. A high school diploma or GED is required, and pre-employment testing will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Pre-employment testing: drug test, background check, physical, and MVR.
• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Willingness to travel across multiple states and stay overnight when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems.
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems.

Compliance Field Technician

Tanknology, a United Uptime Services Company, a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Field Service Technician Apprentice. As a Field Service Technician, you will learn through an apprenticeship style program until you are certified. In this role you will work on various job sites, performing testing, installations, and repairs while using our proprietary software, TANCS, to record your findings.

What You’ll Do:

• Conduct site assessments and surveys
• Perform leak tests on fuel storage tanks and piping systems
• Install equipment and test tank gauge systems
• Enter and analyze test results, communicating findings to the Operations team
• Manage and report inventory of parts and supplies on your company vehicle

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in trades (HVAC, plumbing, mechanics, electricians, carpenters, or cable technicians preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform physical tasks (stooping, bending, kneeling)

• A Strong Educational Foundation:High school diploma or GED required
• Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background, physical, and MVR check.
