Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking a Technical Developer / Analyst to design, configure, and support compliance technology solutions including LexisNexis sanctions screening, PEP screening, and adverse media. The role collaborates across Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and Technology to deliver secure, scalable systems and to improve screening effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or related technical discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in application development, systems implementation, technical configuration, and support within financial services, compliance tech, AML, or financial crime environments.
• Hands-on experience with LexisNexis sanctions screening, PEP screening, adverse media, and related compliance tech platforms.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business, regulatory, and operational requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
• Configure, develop, implement, test, and support LexisNexis compliance products (sanctions, PEP, adverse media).
• Support implementation and maintenance of AI models using current AI capabilities.
• Design integrations, APIs, data feeds, and automated processes between compliance platforms and enterprise apps.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and Technology stakeholders on enhancements and upgrades.
• Provide SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production support.
