Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a detail-oriented compounding pharmacy technician to own the setup and day-to-day operation of our compounding compliance software. You will configure the system to document and track USP <795>, <797>, and <800>, train the compounding team to use it, and report on compliance to pharmacy leadership.

You will be the go-to expert on how the system works and what it must capture to keep us inspection-ready.

Qualifications

3+ years of compounding experience (sterile, non-sterile, or both).
Strong working knowledge of USP <795>, <797>, and <800> documentation and competency requirements.
Current registration as a Certified/Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of residence.
Experience teaching or training others, ideally on software or technical procedures.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, such as reviewing records to spot documentation gaps.
Clear written and verbal communication, and the ability to work independently.
Experience with compounding, quality, or compliance software.

Responsibilities

Configure the compliance software before the facility starts compounding, including tasks, documentation, and competency assessments aligned to USP <795>, <797>, and <800>.
Confirm the system can generate reports that demonstrate compliance with each chapter.
Train compounding staff on the software and make sure everyone is trained before their first compounding shift.
Run daily compliance reports and share results with the Compounding Manager, Pharmacist, and Lead Compounding Pharmacists.
Run monthly reports and deliver a detailed summary, including gaps, trends, and recommended fixes.
Troubleshoot system issues and answer staff questions; expedite to the software vendor when needed.
