Job description

GA Telesis is a global leader providing integrated solutions to the aviation and aerospace industries, with a continuously expanding presence in new countries worldwide. We serve over 2,000 customers, including airlines, original equipment manufacturers, maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) providers. GA Telesis Ecosystem™ is a vast global network spanning 54 locations in 30 countries on six continents. At GA Telesis, our core business is integrated aviation solutions, and our mission is customer success.

The Compliance Specialist, Learning & Development ensures the accuracy and audit readiness of GA Telesis' regulatory training programs, ensuring requirements are documented, tracked, and met across the organization. The role partners closely with HR, Quality, and operational leaders, giving the broader L&D team a compliant, well-governed framework to deliver learning within. This role is based onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

**Important Notice**: Eligibility Requirement: Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

Responsibilities:
  • Own the accuracy, documentation, and audit-readiness of regulatory training records, certifications, transcripts, and archives, aligned to applicable frameworks (FAA, EASA, SAFA, ESG, ISO, AS9100, internal policy)
  • Maintain training matrices mapping regulatory requirements to courses, recurrence, and the audit(s) each supports — the source of truth for what's required, why, and how often
  • Govern compliance-related LMS structure: course logic, automation, access, and data integrity
  • Support audits end-to-end: maintain an audit calendar, proactively spot gaps, assist with evidence gathering, and explain evidence once presented
  • Drive resolution of identified gaps by assessing root cause and recommending corrective action through a compliance lens
  • Report training completion by business unit on a quarterly cadence; flag audit-readiness risk to leaders with a direct ask to prioritize completion (not responsible for chasing individual completions)
  • Act as cross-departmental liaison: advise on compliance requirements, interpret what regulations require, and elevate irregularities
  • Partner with Quality and operational SMEs to confirm training content meets regulatory standards
Qualifications:
  • Microsoft 365 (Excel, OneNote, Lists, Planner, SharePoint), basic PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills to identify compliance risk and trends in learning data
  • Excellent, direct verbal and written communication
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration
  • Highly organized; manages multiple concurrent compliance tracks and priorities
  • Proactive and self-directed
  • Change management aptitude
  • Preferred: aviation industry experience, familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements
