Job summary

GA Telesis is seeking a Quality Control Inspector located in Medley, Florida, at our Landing Gear MRO. This full-time role requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task within aviation quality standards.

Responsibilities include inspecting gear components, verifying documentation, and supporting FAA and customer inspections. Strong reading of blueprints and proactive problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of Quality Control Inspector experience.
• Solid knowledge of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; basic math skills.
• Clear oral and written communication; strong documentation abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed visual, dimensional, and non-destructive inspections (NDI/NDT) of landing gear components and assemblies.
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products for compliance with OEM manuals and regulatory standards.
• Verify repair orders, service bulletins, airworthiness directives, and traceability paperwork.
• Record inspection findings, discrepancies, and corrective actions taken.
• Conduct audits and quality checks throughout the repair process.
• Collaborate with engineering and production to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
• Maintain calibration status of measuring tools and test equipment.
• Support internal and external audits, including FAA and customer inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols, quality procedures, and company policies.

TheQuality Control Inspector plays a key role in maintaining high-quality standards while complying with GA Telesis processes. The ideal individual should be quality-oriented and attention to detail, self-motivated, reliable, and able to multi-task, to perform each essential duty satisfactorily to meet quality product expectations. This is a full-time position based inMedley, Florida at our Landing Gear MRO.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required
• 1-2 yearsQuality Control Inspector experience
• Strong understanding of FAA regulations (14 CFR Part 145), EASA requirements, and OEM maintenance manuals
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as basic mathematical skills
• Must be able to communicate effectively (oral and written)
• Detail-oriented with strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications
• Possess strong organizational, analytical, and administrative skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Familiar with Quantum Software.
• Previous experience with landing gear systems.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
