Job summary

The Oregon State Police in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Full-Time, Permanent Compliance Specialist 2 – Law Enforcement Data Systems to join the CJIS Audit & Quality Control team. This is an in-office role with no remote option and requires careful review of user compliance and data handling policies.

You will analyze information to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements, investigate system misuse, and participate in training outreach.

Qualifications

• Four years experience doing administrative research that included compiling and evaluating facts to recommend management action, or decide compliance with program guidelines and regulations.
• Note: college-level course work may substitute for experience as described.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program documents and audit functions to ensure user compliance with CJIS programs.
• Investigate complaints of system misuse and take corrective action; represent CJIS at meetings and events.
