The Compliance Specialist I supports the organization’s healthcare compliance program by executing risk assessment support, monitoring, audit coordination, policy administration, and training activities. This role focuses on operational execution, data gathering, and issue escalation in alignment with OIG compliance guidance and DOJ Evaluation of Corporate Compliance Programs expectations.Key ResponsibilitiesRisk Assessment and ManagementAssists in maintaining the enterprise-wide compliance risk assessment framework through data collection, documentation, and tracking of risk inputs.Supports annual compliance risk assessment and workplan development by compiling survey results and preparing summaries for leadership review.Compliance Monitoring and AuditsSupports compliance monitoring and audit activities, including data collection, testing support, and documentation of results.Tracks audit findings and corrective action plans under the direction of compliance leadership.Regulatory Monitoring and GuidanceMonitors regulatory updates, enforcement actions, and healthcare compliance guidance (including DOJ and OIG materials).
