• Minimum of 3 years of commercial, corporate, or international paralegal experience.
• Strong legal research, drafting, and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
• Collaborate across internal teams and with external parties.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, issue, and execute termination and release agreements in collaboration with in-house counsel, and confirm amounts due to Choice are collected and terminate accordingly.
• Assist in-house counsel with preparing and issuing a range of legal notices, including default and termination notices, as directed by the managing attorney for various reasons.
• Draft, issue, and execute settlement and release agreements as requested by internal stakeholders.
• Research files, interpret contract language, and prepare acceptance/denial letters for termination windows and liquidated damages calculations.
• Respond to ad hoc requests for file research, documentation, and status updates from counsel and business partners.
• Monitor and manage incoming rush or priority requests while balancing ongoing workload and deadlines.
• Update and maintain corporate applications and systems to ensure accurate tracking of compliance-related matters.
• Ensure legal notice requirements are met and provide paralegal support for litigation and risk-related matters.
