Job summary

NowDiploma SRL is seeking a Compliance & Operations Analyst to join a cross-functional team supporting regulatory compliance, customer onboarding, and day-to-day BaaS operations for the US market. You will help onboard fintech clients, align with sponsor bank requirements, and ensure policies, procedures, and data flows meet industry standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Draft regulatory compliance policies and related operating procedures in collaboration with clients.
• Maintain and improve compliance frameworks aligned with sponsor bank requirements and regulatory guidance.
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and testing, track identified issues, and support remediation.
• Coordinate onboarding activities across product, risk, operations, and other stakeholders.
• Develop onboarding documentation, checklists, and client-facing guidance to create a scalable process.
• Support technical onboarding and integration, including API data flows and webhook events.
• Provide operational oversight for daily BaaS activities, including transaction-monitoring, escalations, exception handling, and partner support.
• Track SLAs, metrics, and trends to support continuous improvement.
• Support incident response, change management, and program governance activities.
• Oversee daily platform reconciliations, including ACH, wire, card settlement, and investigate reconciliation exceptions.

Job description

We are looking for a compliance & banking-as-a-service (BaaS) Compliance & Operations Analyst to

join a cross-functional team supporting regulatory compliance, customer onboarding, and day-

to-day operations for BaaS programs serving the US market.

The analyst will help onboard fintech clients, support their ongoing operations, and ensure

alignment with sponsor bank requirements, internal policies, regulatory expectations, and

industry standards. The position combines compliance, operations, client coordination,

documentation, and technical analysis.

Key responsibilities

Compliance management

• Work with clients to draft regulatory compliance policies and related operating procedures
• Maintain and improve compliance frameworks aligned with sponsor bank requirements and regulatory guidance
• Conduct ongoing monitoring and testing, track identified issues, and support remediation

Customer onboarding for BaaS programs

• Support the end-to-end onboarding of new fintech and platform partners
• Compile due diligence packages and prepare client briefing memos and presentations
• Assess regulatory compliance and operational control programs
• Coordinate onboarding activities across product, risk, operations, and other stakeholders
• Develop onboarding documentation, checklists, and client-facing guidance to create a consistent and scalable process
• Support technical onboarding and integration, including API data flows and webhook events

BaaS operations support

• Provide operational oversight for daily BaaS activities, including transaction-monitoring

escalations, exception handling, and partner support

• Track service-level agreements, operational metrics, and issue trends to support continuous

improvement

• Support incident response, change management, and program governance activities
• Oversee daily platform reconciliations, including ACH, wire, card settlement, and
• Investigate and help resolve reconciliation exceptions with partners and internal teams

Required qualifications

• Experience in fintech, financial services operations, compliance, risk, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, partner-driven environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet software
• English level: С1 or higher, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Working time — 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM US Eastern Time (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Kyiv time)

Nice to have

• Direct experience with banking-as-a-service programs or sponsor banks
• Strong understanding of US-specific regulatory frameworks and market practices
• Experience drafting or maintaining financial-services compliance policies and procedures
• Experience with transaction monitoring, exception management, or payment reconciliations
• Knowledge of ACH, wire, card settlement, and FBO/ledger processes
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or business intelligence tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Working knowledge of REST APIs, webhook events, and API testing
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake or Databricks
