Job summary

The BSA Analytics Analyst at Evolve Bank & Trust supports BSA/AML transaction monitoring, risk reporting, analytics, and BI capabilities, including support for BaaS and fintech partner portfolio. This role combines transaction monitoring analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, testing, documentation, and process improvement.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years of experience in banking, financial services, compliance analytics, risk analytics, BI, data analytics, or related field.
• Experience with reporting tools, dashboards, and BI solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL, database querying, data validation, and analytical techniques.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with management and partners to understand reporting requirements and metrics.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and visual analytics.
• Develop executive summaries, visual presentations, and outputs communicating findings and trends.
• Perform statistical analysis, root cause analysis, data mining, BI, and visualization for BSA/AML and risk initiatives.
• Validate data sources, map data, investigate quality issues, ensure reporting accuracy.

The BSA Analytics Analyst supports Evolve Bank & Trust's BSA/AML transaction monitoring, financial crime analytics, risk reporting, and business intelligence capabilities, including support for the Bank's Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) and fintech partner portfolio. This role combines transaction monitoring analytics, business intelligence, data visualization, reporting, testing, documentation, and process improvement. The successful candidate will leverage analytical and technical skills to support BSA/AML operations, identify emerging risks, improve monitoring effectiveness, and provide meaningful insights through dashboards and reporting solutions. The analyst will work closely with Compliance, Risk, Operations, Technology, Data teams, and both U.S.-based and offshore resources to support regulatory compliance, operational effectiveness, and strategic decision-making.

Main Job Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with management and business partners to understand reporting requirements, key metrics, and analytical objectives.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, and visual analytics solutions that support management, executive leadership, Compliance, Risk, and business units.
• Develop executive summaries, visual presentations, and reporting outputs that communicate analytical findings, emerging risk trends, and operational performance.
• Perform statistical analysis, root cause analysis, data mining, business intelligence, and data visualization activities to support BSA/AML and Risk initiatives, including transaction, customer, and scenario analysis.
• Validate source data, perform data mapping exercises, investigate reporting and data quality issues, and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of reporting automations and analytical solutions.
• Assist with data modeling initiatives utilizing dimensional and relational data concepts where applicable.
• Prepare and maintain business requirements, process documentation, test scripts, test evidence, data mappings, procedures, and other control artifacts.
• Collect, organize, and provide documentation and supporting evidence for audits, regulatory examinations, risk assessments, compliance testing, and governance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
• Support fintech and BaaS partner implementations through requirements gathering, testing, data validation, and monitoring design activities.
• Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and offshore analytical resources to execute project deliverables.
• Identify opportunities to improve automation, reporting efficiency, documentation quality, and operational effectiveness.
• Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• 2-4 years of experience in banking, financial services, compliance analytics, risk analytics, business intelligence, data analytics, or a related field.
• Experience working with reporting tools, dashboards, and business intelligence solutions.
• Working knowledge of SQL, database querying, data validation, and analytical techniques.
• Experience managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
