Job summary

Great Falls Pre-Release Services, Inc. operates a non-profit Community Corrections worksite with three counseling campuses. The Compliance Officer ensures safe, efficient operation of the Pre-Release Center, supporting Treatment Specialists and residents across facilities.

The CO may work at any campus as needed and supervises residents, clients, and visitors during shifts. The role requires high security awareness, crisis intervention, and adherence to program protocols; strong communication,

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Must meet all basic criteria of a Compliance Officer.
• Must possess basic understanding in interpersonal relations with ability to establish, understand and be sensitive to resident needs.
• Skills and experience working with the incarcerated and in re-entry work. Able to lead others in the performance of assigned duties.
• Ability to learn, understand and enforce security procedures, rules and policies, follow instructions and problem solve.
• Effective verbal and written communication. Good organizational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accountability of residents/clients’ whereabouts.
• Maintain security and safety in the Center and inspect for contraband.
• In-process/out-process residents; conduct urinalysis; take fingerprints/photos.
• Handle emergencies; issue warnings and disciplinary reports.
• Prepare weekly duty rosters; supervise and document resident duties daily.
• Report behavior changes; provide crisis intervention; monitor medication dosage.
• Advise staff of client issues affecting the program.
• Oversee daily activities; assist in treatment and training of residents.
• Receive and account for monies; provide transportation; make purchases.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
