Job summary

The Great Falls Pre-Release Center in Montana is seeking a Transportations Specialist who may perform Compliance Officer duties as needed. You will provide transportation for residents to work and appointments, monitor behavior, and support staff with program requirements in a minimum-security setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid Montana driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with incarcerated individuals and re-entry work is preferred.
• Ability to learn and enforce security procedures and policies.
• Strong verbal and written communication, organization and time management.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation for residents to work, medical appointments and other activities.
• Transport residents and accompany them to medical appointments when needed.
• Ensure residents are charged correctly for rides, where applicable.
• Report behavior changes or incidents to senior staff.
• Inform relevant staff of important client-related issues affecting program participation.
• Collect supplies from different locations as required.
• Provide input to shift leaders that may influence policy or procedures.
• Conduct visual checks of residents in the community and complete other duties as assigned.
