Job summary

Star Dental Partners is seeking a Compliance Manager to join our fast-paced team. This role will help ensure the organization complies with local, state, and federal regulations across dental practices and support services.

The successful candidate will lead regulatory programs, oversee dental board licensure for clinicians, manage licensure and business registrations, and collaborate with operations, HR, and finance to reduce risk and support growth.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership experience in a DSO.
• Experience with regulatory and clinical compliance in dental settings.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations across the organization.
• Oversee X-Ray/Radiation Equipment Compliance.
• Manage regulatory and clinical compliance programs (OSHA, infection control, etc.).
• Coordinate State Dental Board licensure for dentists, hygienists, and assistants.
• Maintain business licensure and corporate compliance records.
• Lead and mentor the Compliance team and collaborate with practice sites.

Star Dental Partners (SDP) is seeking a Compliance Manager to join our collaborative and fast-paced team. This position will play a key role in ensuring compliance across the organization, interacting with many support center departments regularly.

As a Dental Support Organization (DSO) that assists dental practices with non-clinical challenges and provides industry proven business support services. Our affiliated dentists live a higher quality lifestyle with more time focused on patients and less on administrative burden.

The Compliance Manager Will Support Star’s Mission And Strategic Priorities, With Specific Focus On Ensuring Our Dental Practice Remain Compliant With Local, State And Federal Regulations, Including But Not Limited To The Following Areas

• X-Ray/Radiation Equipment Compliance
• Regulatory and Clinical Compliance (e.g. OSHA/Infection Control Compliance, Emergency Preparedness, Medical Waste Compliance)
• State Dental Board Licensure (e.g. Dentists, Hygienists, Dental Assistants)
• Business Licensure
• 3+ years proven success and experience in a leadership role within a DSO
• Experience working within the Compliance department of a DSO preferred
• Highly organized and detail-oriented work ethic
• Ability to work collaboratively with all team members, both at the practice level and Support Center
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Demonstrates a sense of urgency and works well under pressure
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the initiative to work independently
• Strong ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
• Demonstrates integrity, responsibility, accountability, and a high level of professionalism
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook)
