Job summary

ExploreElginArea is seeking a Compliance Manager to oversee grant compliance with ICASA, ICADV, and Attorney General grants. The role ensures all contractual obligations are met and documentation is accurate.

You will monitor grant reporting, maintain funding records for SA and DV programs, and coordinate with staff to uphold confidentiality and data quality. A strong background in human services and licensing is required, with leadership and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in a related Human Services field is required.
  • Clinical license (LCPC/LCSW) or obtain within two years of hire.
  • Certification (CDVP and/or CPAIP) or obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Write ICASA, ICADV, and Attorney General Grants.
  • Implement revisions from grant funders.
  • Monitor grant documentation for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual funder reports.
  • Maintain SA and DV funding records in Infonet and CCC Staff Database.
  • Monitor direct service hours.
  • Verify data quality in the CCC database.
  • Ensure confidentiality of services.
  • Provide monthly board reports and related documentation.
  • Notice of resignation: six-month notice requested.
  • Attend Staff Meetings unless waived by ED.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

JOB SUMMARY

The Compliance Manager is responsible for agency compliance of grants and regulations. Write assigned grants and monitor documentation provided to them to ensure that all contractual obligations are met in accordance with legal procedures and agency standards.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Write ICASA, ICADV, and Attorney General Grants.
  • Implement all revisions and suggestions from grant funders.
  • Monitor documentation submitted to grants to assure accuracy and compliance.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting to funding sources including Notice of Personnel Changes and modification justifications.
  • Maintain SA and DV funding for staff in Infonet and CCC Staff Database.
  • Monitor direct service hours.
  • Verify data quality in CCC the database.
  • Ensure and maintain confidentiality of services.
  • Maintain accurate records and provide monthly board reports and others as requested.
  • Due to the integral responsibilities of the position, the agency respectfully requests a six (6) month notice of the employee’s intent to resign.
  • Attend Staff Meetings as designated unless the Executive Director waives this requirement.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
JOB RELATIONSHIPS
  • Supervised by the Director of Client Services.
  • Work with agency employees, volunteers, and student interns as necessary.
ESSENTIAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Education – A Master’s Degree in a related Human Services area (Counseling, Social Work, Clinical Psychology). A Clinical License is required (LCPC/LCSW), or must be obtained within two (2) years of hire. Certification is also required either the Certified Domestic Violence Professional and/or Certified Partner Abuse Intervention Professional (CDVP and/or CPAIP), or must be obtained within one (1) year of hire.
  • Experience – Prefer a minimum of three (3) years of experience in grant writing, monitoring and/or equivalent.
  • Training – Upon employment will receive a minimum of forty (40) hours of specialized training in the area of domestic violence and forty (40) hours of specialized training in sexual assault.
  • Technical skills – Requires good written, verbal and communication skills; must have good listening skills; good management and organizational skills, as well as basic computer skills. Must have the ability to prioritize responsibilities; must have a knowledge of area services for clients in the program.
  • Social skills – Ability to function independently with a minimum of supervision; must be able to respond appropriately in emergency situations; must have established leadership skills; must demonstrate flexibility and teamwork capacity within the agency. Must also demonstrate courtesy and respect towards all fellow employees, interns, volunteers, visitors, and clients.
  • Physical Requirements – Must have visual and auditory acuity; must have the ability to lift up to thirty (30) pounds; must be able to read; must be able to enter information into client files.
  • Transportation Requirements – Must be willing and able to travel throughout the area; if employee uses a privately-owned vehicle, must provide proof of current automobile insurance coverage and annual renewal documentation thereafter.
  • Attendance – Must maintain an acceptable attendance record.
