Abbott is seeking a Compliance/Logistics Analyst for a 4-month, 100% onsite assignment in North Chicago, IL. The role focuses on supporting import/export compliance activities, ensuring proper documentation and recordkeeping according to U.S. regulations, and participating in transactional testing and audits.

The position requires attention to detail, experience with Excel/SharePoint, and 0-3 years of related experience. Knowledge in import/export logistics and related regulatory areas is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with transactional testing (auditing) in a compliance area such as trade compliance, regulatory, or quality.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel and SharePoint.
• 0-3 years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Support internal customers with compliance activities related to import and export.
• Ensure documentation and recordkeeping are compliant with U.S. import/export regulations.
• Perform compliance-related import/export activities and support audits of shipments and transactions.
• Coordinate with internal teams using Excel and SharePoint.

Title: Compliance/Logistics Analyst - A

Location: North Chicago, Illinois

Duration: 4 Months

100% Onsite

Responsibilities:

• Support internal customers with compliance activities related to import and export.
• Ensure that all related documentation and recordkeeping is compliant with U.S. import & export regulations.
• Position requires knowledge of transactional testing (auditing) in a compliance area such as trade compliance, regulatory, or quality; experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and SharePoint; keen attention to detail; self-starter.
• 0-3 years of experience.

Knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

• Import/export logistics
• International freight forwarding, creating proforma invoices for international shipments
• Classifying commodities according to HTS and/or Schedule B
• Maintaining updated FDA
• USDA, and Other Agency data
• USMCA Certificates of Origin
• Filing Shippers Export Declarations (AES/EEI)
• Maintaining inbound/outbound shipment log and record filing system
• Shipment tracking and follow-up
• Logistics coordinating/assistance
• Compliance/audit
• Audit customs brokerage invoices
• SOP creation and compliance
